We’re teaming up with Sip & Script for a fun, beginner-friendly modern calligraphy workshop under the stars at CityLine Plaza! Whether you’re a newbie or looking for a creative night out, this class is perfect for you.
What’s Included:
You’ll enjoy 1.5 hours of hands-on instruction and leave with a full beginner kit (complete with nibs, ink, a pen holder, guides, and more). All supplies are yours to use during class and take home to keep the creativity going!
Class Setting:
This workshop is perfect for total beginners (lefties included!), and if you’ve dabbled in calligraphy before, consider it a fun refresher with some new tools to try.
Kids 16 and under are welcome with a ticketed adult. Just a heads up that this is a relaxed setting where guests may have a drink in hand.

Class Expectations:
This class is encouraged for someone who has never taken a calligraphy class before. We teach the basics and our expectation for you is to have ink flowing through your nib with enough confidence to be able to practice way beyond class. We love using tracing paper with our guides to help you build muscle memory and develop your own style! If you have tried calligraphy out before, this class will be a great refresher.
Parking at CityLine:
FREE parking is available along State Street or on the ground level of all garages. Or take the DART which drops you off right on CityLine property!
